In 2011 Entity Solutions announced that we appointed SANE Australia as our CSR partner to help strengthen their ability to work towards a better life for people affected by mental illness. We accompanied the announcement with the first of our fundraising and awareness initiatives and have been actively working on formulating a partnership plan for 2012 which we hope will assist in raising awareness and contributing to a cause that is often overlooked throughout society.
A not-for-profit organisation’s community is pivotal to its existence. Particularly in cases like SANE where ‘community’ funding support helps keep them independent and able to advocate for better services and understanding of people affected by mental illness. So it is our pleasure to share with you what other members of SANE’s ‘community’ and support network are doing…
Starting March 2012, ultra distance runner Richard Bowles is running 5,330km from Healesville VIC to Cooktown QLD on the rugged Bicentennial National Trail (BNT). The BNT is the world’s longest marked trail and this project is a world first! Richard’s aim in participating in the ultra-marathon is to raise awareness and much needed funds for SANE and ultimately help others who don’t have a choice when it comes to the mental challenges they have to face each day.
